Jurat inc. has issued new PII badges for users of The Notary eJournal


What does PII stand for?

PII stands for personally identifiable information, and refers to the information collected in the notary journal that can personally identify the individual being notarized. This may include ID information, addresses, signatures, etc. Our goal is to help establish trust between notaries and the communities they serve, and we believe it is important for our community members to know that their information is being properly handled & safeguarded.

Who has the right to use these badges?

Any actively subscribed user of Jurat inc’s The Notary eJournal. This includes trial subscriptions, active subscriptions & retention subscriptions.

How should I use these badges?

These badges are meant to be displayed in any forward-facing marketing channels/material where you market yourself and your notarial services to the public. Examples include business cards, personal websites, social media, and brochures.

Where can I access/download these badges?

Log in to your account at app.juratinc.com and head over to the account section. These will not be downloadable from the app, so you must access them through the web portal

Variants

There are 2 options: a black outlined badge and a white outlined badge (for use on darker colored backgrounds to help separate the badge from the background).
